NCPD Crime Alert: 14 Year Old Robbed at Knifepoint in Freeport

Freeport, NY - May 14th, 2014 - First Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on May 12, 2014 at 3:15 pm in Freeport.

According to detectives, after exiting her school bus and walking home on Southside Avenue in the vicinity of Guy Lombardo Avenue, a 14 year old 9th grade female was approached by a male black subject who was armed with a red handled knife. After demanding her gold necklace, the subject forcibly removed it from her neck and fled westbound on Southside Avenue.

The uninjured victim further describe the subject as being a dark skinned male black, about 20-25 years old, was 5’4” tall with a medium build. He was wearing dark colored shorts, a dark tank top and a white towel that was wrapped around his head.
