2019 Long Island Memorial Day Parades

A time-honored tradition, Memorial Day parades are a great way to show patriotism. Whether it’s waving a flag or donning red, white and blue, honor our brave heroes at these Long Island Memorial Day Parades.

 

Lindenhurst
When: Monday, May 27 at 8am

Where: This parade will start at Breslau Cemetery, and then proceed west on Newark Street. It will continue onto Hartford Street and will come to an end at Lindenhurst Village Hall.

 

Sag Harbor
When: Monday, May 27 at 9am

Where: This parade will start on Main Street and continue throughout the town of Sag Harbor.

 

Bay Shore
When: Monday, May 27 from 10am to 1pm

Where: Participants will line up at Newins Ford on Main Street.

 

Ronkonkoma
When: Monday, May 27 from 11am to 12:30pm

Where: The parade starts on Patchogue-Holbrook Road at Hiawatha Elementary School. It runs up and along Portion Road and eventually comes to an end at the St. Regis Knights of Columbus Hall on Pond Road.

 

East Meadow
When: Monday, May 27 at 10am

Where: This parade begins at East Meadow High School and ends at Veteran’s Memorial Park.

 

Farmingdale
When: Monday, May 27 at 10am to 12pm 

Where: The parade starts on Main Street.

 

Garden City
When: Monday, May 27 at 10am (meet at 9:40am)

Where: Participants will meet on 10th Street between Cherry Valley Avenue and Hilton Avenue. The parade will conclude at the Garden City Library, just west of the gazebo.

 

Glen Cove
When: Monday, May 27 at 11am

Where: The opening ceremony will start at Monument Park. The parade will follow at noon and will go from School Street, through downtown Glen Cove, to the Glen Cove Public Library.

 

Long Beach
When: Monday, May 27 at 10am

Where: This parade will begin on Ohio Avenue and West Beach Street. It will end at the reviewing stand on Park Avenue in front of City Hall.

 

Plainview-Old Bethpage
When: Monday, May 27 from 8:30am to 11:30am

Where: The lineup for this parade will be at 700 Old Country Road. The parade will last about an hour, ending at Plainview-Old Bethpage Community Park on Washington Avenue.

 

Oyster Bay
When: Monday, May 27 from 11:30am to 2pm

Where: The parade will start at Raynham Hall Museum (20 West Main Street). After the parade, all are welcome to free ice cream, lemonade, popcorn, old-fashioned games and music.

 

Northport
When: Monday, May 27 at 10am

Where: This parade will take place in Village Park.
