Rocky Point, NY, May 2013 – Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker recognized Eagle Scout recipients Thomas Lettieri, Daniel O’Connor, Kyle Spira, Dylan Magee, Francis Luglio, Brian Lounsbury, and Shawn Countess from Troop 244 of Rocky Point. The Court of Honor was held on May 11^th at Rocky Point High School.

“These young men have proven themselves to be leaders within our community,” said Legislator Anker. “I would like to congratulate them on achieving Eagle Scout.”

Through their hard work and determination, the boys completed numerous requirements for their Eagle Scout Awards. Projects included enhancements to landscaping, recreational facilities, and installing new equipment at community centers. The projects were performed at the Rose Caracappa Senior Center in Mount Sinai, Little Flower in Wading River, Rocky Point Parish Resource Center, Temple Isaiah in Stony Brook, Trinity Lutheran Church in Rocky Point, and beach communities in both Rocky Point and Sound Beach.
