"Baby Animal Day" on Saturday, May 13 at Suffolk County Farm in Yaphank

This year’s annual “Baby Animal Day” takes place Saturday, May 13 at the Suffolk County Farm and Education Center in Yaphank. The event welcomes the return of warm weather, as well as the arrival of newborn farm animals each spring. 

 

Hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County, “Baby Animal Day” appeals to the entire family. It offers food and artisan craft vendors, farm animal interactions in two nursery pens, hayrides, “touch a truck,” live music, model aircraft demonstrations, and more included with ticket purchase. 

 

WHAT: “Baby Animal Day” event.

WHEN: Saturday, May 13, 2023  9:00am to 4:00pm.

 

WHERE: Suffolk County Farm and Education Center, 350 Yaphank Avenue, Yaphank.

 

WHO: Hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County.  

 

TICKETS: $15 for pre-registrants age three or above. $20 for attendees at the gate.

 

Attendees must purchase tickets to participate. No open-toed shoes are permitted in the animal areas.
