Trio Arrested for Nassau and Suffolk Knifepoint Robbery Spree Plead Not Guilty at Riverhead Arraignment

Riverhead, NY - May 12, 2017 - The man charged with eight knifepoint robberies in Suffolk County pleaded not guilty to the charges at his arraignment on an indictment in Riverhead today, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said.
Shane Cashmore is charged with eight counts of robbery in the first degree; three Carvel stores, a Baskin-Robbins, two Subway shops, and two Dairy Barn stores from February 13 to May 1 in Suffolk County.
His alleged accomplices, Paul Drab, 26, and Julianna Pantaleone, 31, are charged in the same indictment with one count of robbery in the first degree; of the Huntington Station Carvel on May 1, the night the trio was arrested. Each pleaded not guilty today.
Judge Timothy Mazzei set cash bail for Cashmore at one million dollars or $2 million bond, and $500,000 cash or one million bond for Drab and Pantaleone.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
