Off-Key Tikki Brings Hit Manhattan Supper Club Show to Patchogue

Written by Long Island News & PR  |  12. May 2016

Patchogue, NY - May 12, 2016 - With the celebrity world saturated by the Kardashians and Real Housewives, the word "entertainer" has come to have a different meaning than it did in the golden days of supper clubs like Ciro's and the Copacabanna: This young singer is determined to change that. After a sold out run at Feinstein's/54 Below, Jesse Luttrell will begin a monthly residency this summer at the Off-Key Tikki in Patchogue.

Critically acclaimed modern vaudevillian Jesse Luttrell embodies the indefatigable show-stopping spirit of the Great American Songbook in a high octane evening of treasured swing, Broadway, and popular music. Jesse unleashes his shattering voice and theatrical post-modern style on a repertoire that runs the gamut from the classic songs of Jule Styne, Cy Coleman and Rodgers & Hart, to Anthony Newley, Jerry Herman specialties, and Peter Allen showstoppers.

"I can't tell you how many people have told me they miss seeing this kind of entertainment.  There aren't a lot of young people singing these songs anymore. My grandmother used to blast big band and swing music in the morning to wake us all up so I'm very excited to pass the torch and wake everyone else up too!"

Jesse's musical arrangements and orchestrations are by noted orchestrator and composer Fred Barton who has worked on television, Broadway, national tours, and has orchestrated for top orchestras including the New York Pops.

Now local audiences will have the opportunity to experience the entertainer that the legendary Village Voice columnist Michael Musto calls “a dazzling amalgam of all of the greats, he’s such a star!”  The cover charge is a bargain at only $10, and a full dinner menu will be available.

When:  Tuesdays June 7, July 5, August 2 2016.  7:00PM
