Take the MTA Long Island Rail Road to the Electric Daisy Carnival at Citi Field on Saturday, May 14 & Sunday, May 15

New York, NY - May 10, 2016 - The 2016 Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) New York is coming to Citi Field on Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15 and MTA Long Island Rail Road is all tuned up with frequent Port Washington Branch train service for fans to Mets-Willets Point Station at the doorstep of the stadium.

It’s the fifth edition of the New York EDC, one of the biggest electronic dance music festivals around. From the stages and sound to the pyrotechnics and the performers, this year’s Carnival has an expanded festival footprint and a brand-new stage layout, giving music lovers more room to groove. Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, will be transformed into a playground for the 18-and-over crowd, complete with thrilling carnival rides, mind-bending art, and the funkiest circus performers you’ve ever met. Musically, the two-day lineup of artists include big names like Afrojack, Liquid Todd, Paul Oakenfold, David Guetta, Eric Prydz, Kaskade, Oliver Heldens, Seven Lions and DJ Snake.

Port Washington Branch trains will be adding Mets-Willets Point to their scheduled stops during EDC hours. For departure and arrival times consult the “Special Timetable for the Electric Daisy Concert at Mets-Willets Point” at the MTA LIRR website or pick up a printed copy at Penn Station, Atlantic Terminal, Jamaica Station or any Port Washington Branch station.
