East Meadow, NY - May 9, 2018 - The First Squad reports the arrest of a Roosevelt man for Grand Larceny that occurred on Tuesday, May 01, 2018 am 9:55 am in East Meadow.
 
According to detectives, Jose Quiroz, 31, was employed by Kia Auto World located at 2520 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow. Quiroz accepted down payments from multiple customers dating back to November 2017. The money was payment toward their vehicle purchase. Quiroz, a financial representative, kept a portion of the down payments. Kia Auto World reports a loss in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000). Quiroz was arrested without incident.
 
Defendant Quiroz was charged with four (4) counts of Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, two (2) counts of Grand Larceny 4th Degree, eight (8) counts of Falsifying Business Records 1st Degree, Scheme to Defraud 1st Degree and Pettit Larceny. He was arraigned on Wednesday, May 5, 2018 at First District Court, Hempstead.
