NCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Robbing Roosevelt Cell Phone Store

Roosevelt, NY - May 8th, 2014 - The First Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at 7:47 p.m. in Roosevelt.

According to detectives, a light skinned male subject, possibly black or Hispanic, wearing dark clothing and a black mask entered the Metro PCS store located at 318 Nassau Road. He produced a Taser and demanded the money from the register which the two employees, a male 18 and a female 19 gave to him in a plastic bag.  The subject fled in a light gray vehicle west on Woods Avenue with an unknown amount of U.S. currency. There were no injuries reported.
