Elmont, NY - May 7, 2014 - The 6th Annual A Day at the Races will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 11am-5pm at Belmont Racetrack. This premiere social event helps fund the MDA Summer Camp program. The local MDA Summer Camp is July 19th-25th the Boroughs and Westchester areas, who are living with neuromuscular disease a one-week sleepover camp where they can make memories that will last a lifetime. The cost to send just one kid to camp is over $800. MDA picks up the tab for all of our campers, and receives no government funding. MDA Summer Camp can take place thanks to the generous donations provided through generous donors and great programs like A Day at the Races.

Thank you to our Committee Members; EastEnd Marketing/Valero, ERA Top Service Realty and the National Association of Letter Carriers. We also like to thank our sponsors 7-Eleven, Capital One Bank, Hand Rolled Bagels and Ridgewood Bank. Every sponsor receives admission to the event, which includes a buffet lunch and awards ceremony.
