Please be advised of the following Community Events that will be taking place this weekend. These events may cause temporary road closures and/or traffic congestion.

Traffic advisories are in effect for this weekend in anticipation of several community events.

Suffolk County, NY - May, 6, 2016 - Please be advised of the following Community Events that will be taking place this weekend. These events may cause temporary road closures and/or traffic congestion.

Lindenhurst Village – Fri. May 20th 11am:  Lindenhurst Annual Bulldog Triathlon will be a bike ride around the high school encompassing parts of No. Lewis Ave., East John St., No., Indiana Ave, Daniel St., No. Monroe Ave. and  Byrd St.

Babylon Village – Sat.  May 20-22: Babylon Village has given permission for Bicycle Shows US to hold their ride from the Babylon RR Station to Montauk.  

North Babylon – Sun. May 22 9am-7pm:  North Babylon Lions Club Annual Street Fair & Community Festival, to be held on Old Deer Park Ave., between Dulittle & Strathmore Dr. (merge @ triangle).

Lindenhurst – Sun. May 22 7am-12:30pm:  The CJ Memorial 5K Race-Annual Walk-A-thon, to raise awareness for Drug Addiction. Starting and Ending at Venetian Shores Park, Lindenhurst. The race will go north on Granada Pkwy., and continue throughout the local roadways, including: Harding, E.Shore, Farragut, Wyona, Schley, Lido, Maple, W. Lake Dr., Verona, Oak, Riviera, Beach and back to Venetian.
