Police: Man Wanted for Stealing Cash Out of Commack Vehicle

Commack, NY - May 3, 2017 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the man who stole cash from a victim’s vehicle in Commack.
 
On April 22, a man entered La Scala restaurant, located at 34 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, and took a victim’s keys off the counter. The suspect then entered the victim’s vehicle and stole $300 form the center console. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a Black Pyramid hooded-sweatshirt, Adidas pants with white stripes and tan-colored sneakers.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
