Man Arrested for Exposing Himself to Children at Greenlawn Skateboard Park, SCPD Says

Greenlawn, NY - May 2, 2018 - Suffolk County Police today arrested a man for exposing himself to children at a skateboard park in Greenlawn on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
 
Van At Nguyen unzipped his pants and exposed himself in a lewd manner in front of children at the Greenlawn Skate Park, located at the corner of Broadway and Pulaski Road at approximately 5 p.m. There were several children in the park at the time. A child told his mother and she called 911. Police arrested Nguyen at the park at approximately 5:55 p.m.
 
Second Squad detectives charged Nguyen, 67, of Greenlawn with Public Lewdness and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be held overnight at the 2nd Precinct and is scheduled for arraignment on May 2.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
