Arrest Made for Homicide Case at East Meadow Home, Victim Identified

The Homicide Squad is investigating a Homicide that occurred on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 4:00 pm in East Meadow.

Update - May 14, 2015 - The victim in the case has been identified as Mirian Bejarano, 52, of East Meadow. Homicide detectives also report the arrest of Hector Bejarano, 53.  He is charged with Murder 2nd degree and will be arraigned on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.

East Meadow, NY - April 29, 2015 - The Homicide Squad is investigating a Homicide that occurred on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 4:00 pm in East Meadow.

According to detectives, 911 received a call for an unconscious female at a residence on Prospect Avenue.  Upon arrival, police found Mirian Bejarano, 52, of East Meadow lying on the floor.   Bejarano was pronounced deceased at 4:07 pm by a Nassau County Police Ambulance Medical Technician. 

The investigation is ongoing.
