SPCA Charges Copiague Man with Failing to Provide Vet Care to His Dog

Suffolk County SPCA Detectives charged a Copiague man with animal cruelty.  
 
Steven Dukes, 31, of Copiague was charged with failure to provide veterinary care to Dior, his severely ill male, terrier mixed breed dog. The dog was surrendered and transported to the Babylon Animal Shelter to receive medical treatment. 
 
Dukes is scheduled to appear in First District Court on June 26th, 2019.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
