Silver Alert Issued for Central Islip Man Suffering Dementia, with Heart Condition

Central Islip, NY - April 26, 2016 - The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Central Islip man who suffers from dementia and has a heart condition.

Angel E. Ochoa, 84, of 14 East Locust St., was last seen leaving his residence on Saturday, April 23 at approximately 2:30 a.m. Ochoa is Hispanic, 5 feet 4 inches tall and approximately 125 pounds. He is bald and missing his front teeth. Ochoa was last seen wearing a black wool coat, a dark suit, black dress shoes and a fedora.

Detectives believe Ochoa may be in New York City. Anyone with information on Ochoa’s whereabouts is asked to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or 911.

Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
