NCPD Crime Alert: Valley Stream Bank Robbed

Valley Stream, NY - April 25th, 2014 - The Robbery Squad reports the details of a bank Robbery which occurred on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 2:05 P.M. in Valley Stream.

According to detectives, a male black suspect, in his 20’s, 6’4” tall with a thin build wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, dark jeans and a NY Yankees baseball cap entered the Roslyn Savings Bank located at 75 N. Central Avenue and presented a demand note to the teller.  The teller complied handing over an undetermined amount of cash.  The suspect fled on foot northbound to a dark colored auto which fled eastbound on Rose Street.  There were five employees and no customers in the bank at the time of the incident.  No injuries were reported.
