SCPD: Two Suspects Steal ATV from Melville Craigslist Seller

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two men who stole an ATV from a man in Melville this month.
 
Two men contacted the seller of an ATV through Craigslist and met the seller at a residence on Lamarr Avenue on April 19 at approximately 5:30 p.m. One of the men asked the seller to test drive the ATV and he fled westbound on the Northern State Parkway and did not return. The other man fled in a grey Toyota Camry.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637). All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
