Lynbrook Man Found in Possession of Large Cache of Illegal Fireworks, Cops Say

The Arson & Bomb Squad reports the Arrest of a Lynbrook man for Possession of Fireworks that occurred on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 9:00 P.M. in Lynbrook.
 
According to detectives, Lynbrook Police were called for a disturbance on Harvard Avenue. During the investigation officers discovered a large amount of fireworks at the residence of  Marc Solomon, 43, who was placed under arrest without incident. The investigation led officers to a storage facility in Rockville Centre where another large amount of fireworks were stored. All fireworks were removed by the Arson & Bomb Squad and secured.
 
Defendant Marc Solomon is charged with two counts of NYS-LAB 458 Licenses and Certificates and two counts of NYS-LAB 453 Storage of Explosives. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
