SCPD: Two Busted During Execution of Mastic Search Warrant; Gun, Drugs and Cash Seized

Mastic, NY - April 23, 2018 - Suffolk County Police arrested two men and seized drugs and a weapon following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Mastic on Friday, April 20, 2018.  
 
Following an investigation regarding drug activity, Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives, with the assistance of officers from the Emergency Service Section, Seventh Precinct Gang Team and Seventh Precinct Community Support Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Meadowmere Ave. at 7:50 a.m. Police seized a loaded SCCY 9mm semiautomatic handgun, five grams of heroin, three grams of crack, four ounces of concentrated cannabis, drug paraphernalia and $1,815.
 
A resident of the home, Jonathan White, 20, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Another resident of the home, Nasier McInnis, 21, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
 
White and McInnis were held overnight at the Seventh Precinct and were arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on April 21.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
