Matthew Knowles Discusses Beyoncé, Destiny's Child, and Jay-Z on Tom Needham's The Sounds of Film

Stony Brook, NY - April 20, 2016 - Music producer/manager and author, Matthew Knowles, will be Tom Needham's special guest this Thursday at 8 P.M. on WUSB's The Sounds of Film.

Matthew Knowles will be discussing his new book, The DNA of Achievers: 10 Traits of Highly Successful Professionals. The title of the book reminds readers of his offspring, Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, along with the mega group Destiny's Child. The Amazon #1 best-seller focuses on the traits of successful people and examines the importance of team building, risk-taking and learning from failure. 

Under his leadership, Knowles' Music World Entertainment has become one of the music business' most successful companies with record sales exceeding 300 million. In addition to music, Knowles has had success in the film and television industry. He has been the executive producer for the film Obsessed, and the video the Beyoncé Experience: Live and MTV's Breaking From Above.

The Sounds of Film is the nation's longest running film-themed show. For over 28 years, the program has delivered a popular mix of interviews and music to listeners all over Long Island, parts of Connecticut and streaming live at wusb.fm. Recent guests include Dionne Warwick, Big Daddy Kane, Katrina vanden Heuvel,  director Josh Fox, composer Carter Burwell, Billy Joel, and the Fugees' Praz.
