Smithtown, NY - April 20, 2015 -  Suffolk County Legislator Kevin McCaffrey (R-Lindenhurst), along with other local officials, recently attended Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk’s Builders Breakfast.  The annual event gives public recognition and thanks to all of the individuals and organizations for their contributions of time, talent, and other vital resources which make Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk a resounding success.

“Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk represents everything that makes Suffolk County one of the greatest places to live,” said McCaffrey.  “The process that this organization goes through to meet its goals necessitates finding extremely generous and talented people from our nearby communities; apparently there is no shortage of this resource.  The amount of dedicated, generous, and compassionate people that come forward to help their neighbors never ceases to impress me.  We truly owe Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk and its supporters a debt of gratitude.”

According to their website, Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk has been active in the community for 25 years.  Since its efforts began in Suffolk County, the organization has enabled more than 175 low income families to live in a home of their own.
