Sunrise Yoga: Kings Park

Good Life Yoga will begin their morning Beach Yoga Classes on the boardwalk (East Pavilion) at Sunken Meadow State Park every Sunday at 9 a.m. starting May 4. What's better than stretching your limbs with a view of the Long Island Sound as your back drop? We couldn't think of anything either. Entrance into the park is $10, but there is no require fee for the class.

Sunset Harbor: Patchogue

Nows the time to try paddle boarding while enjoying beautiful views of this East Patchogue harbor. Long Island SUP offers stand-up paddle boarding excursions in the spring and summer. The workout builds core and upper body strength, and the boaters in the yacht club are known to cheer you on as you attempt to engage your core and maybe make a few splashes into the water.

Bethpage State Park: Bethpage

Home to the world-renowned Black Course, which was twice the site of the US Open Championship, Bethpage State Park boasts an 18-hole paradise. For a bit more cardio, there are also tennis courts and trails perfect for walking, running or biking.

Long Beach Boardwalk: Long Beach

Who doesn’t love a little exercise when it comes with a gorgeous view of the Atlantic Ocean? Crush your workout on the 2.2-mile Long Beach Boardwalk. Once you’ve sweated enough, refuel at The Shoregasboard at Riverside & The Beach with one of their health forward açaí bowls.

Valley Stream State Park: Valley Stream

If you love exploring, Valley Stream State Park is the perfect place to do so. The park has a walking course, a half-mile loop with 15 stations, where walkers can complete a variety of stretching and strengthening exercises. This outdoor exercise adventure focuses on cardiovascular fitness, vitality and longevity for all ages.
