SCPD: Information Wanted in Brentwood Homicide of Michael Johnson

Brentwood, NY - April 14, 2016 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person or people who killed a man in Brentwood earlier this year.

The body of Michael Johnson, 29, of Central Islip, was found in a wooded area between Suffolk Avenue and Second Avenue, east of Springfield Road on February 2. Johnson was last seen on January 28 at Sycamore Plaza in Brentwood where he was known to frequent. The cause of his death was related to a head injury.

Attached is a photo of the victim.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
