NCPD Searching for Knife-Wielding Ice Cream Robber
North Valley Stream, NY - April 13, 2016 - The Major Case Bureau reports the details of a Robbery which occurred on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 9:33 p.m. in North Valley Stream.
According to Robbery Squad detectives, a male black, 6’ tall wearing a black hooded shirt, jeans, tan work boots, black gloves and dark glasses entered Carvel, located at 1551 Dutch Broadway, armed with 6 inch knife. He walked around the counter and demanded the victim open the register. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing eastbound on Dutch Broadway. The employee was alone in the store at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
