Bay Shore, NY - April 11th, 2016 - A 27 year old male instructor at a Bay Shore dance school will be arraigned on an indictment tomorrow in Riverhead on charges related to an alleged sexual relationship he had with a 14 year old female dance student, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said.

Bryan Galvis of Brentwood is free on bail following his arrest in January on rape and other charges.

Mr. Galvis is a dance instructor at Herencia Calena Latin Dance Company.

In October of 2015, a sexual relationship began between Mr. Galvis and the girl. The victim eventually informed a family member of the nature of their relationship and police were contacted.

Arrested by Suffolk police on January 11, Galvis is free on $100,000 bond.

Suffolk County Judge Barbara Kahn (second floor of the courthouse) will unseal the indictment tomorrow, Tuesday, April 12. The court calendar starts at 9:30 am.
