Mangano to Intensify Police Patrols for Passover & Easter Holidays

Patrols around temples, synagogues, houses of worship and churches will be intensified.

Mineola, NY - April 10, 2014 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Acting Police Commissioner Thomas Krumpter will join with religious leaders at a press conference tomorrow, April 11th at 12:00 p.m. to announce intensified police patrols around temples, synagogues, houses of worship and churches for the upcoming Passover and Easter Holidays.

Governor Cuomo has also announced that an anti-texting initiative dubbed “Operation Hang Up” will run from April 10 through April 15.
