Patchogue Woman Tied Up, Robbed by Masked Home Intruders, Cops Say

Patchogue, NY - April 9, 2018 - Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating an occupied burglary in Patchogue during which a resident was restrained on Saturday, April 7, 2018 .
 
A 24-year-old female was inside her bedroom in her residence on Shaber Road when she heard a noise at her back door at approximately 3:55 a.m. The woman went to check the noise and two suspects entered, pushed her back inside the room and tied her hands with a cell phone cord. The suspects, who were both wearing ski masks, stole cash and personal items and fled. 
 
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the burglary to call the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
