Authorities Seeking Man Who Passed Counterfeit Cash at Commack Gas Station

Commack, NY - April 9, 2018 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who used counterfeit currency at a store in Commack.
 
A man used counterfeit $20 bills to purchase two $100 Visa gift cards from Speedway, located at 5087 E. Jericho Turnpike, on January 31 at approximately 11 p.m. The man fled in a silver Nissan Maxima, possibly a 2007 or 2008 model.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
