Suspect Wanted for Shoplifting from Patchogue Store, Threatening Guard with Knife

Patchogue, NY - April 9th, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole footwear from a Patchogue store last month.
 
A man entered Bob’s Stores, located at 499 Sunrise Service Road, and took two pairs of Timberland boots on March 17 at 2:10 p.m. When he left the store, a security guard stopped him and the suspect threatened the guard with a knife. The suspect fled in a vehicle, possibly a white Nissan Altima.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
