Update: Two Arrested for Robbing Mineola Bank

Update - April 9, 2014 - Robbery Squad reports the arrest of Lee Harrison, 40, of 225 Navajo Trail, Amityville in connection with the above incident. Harrison, the subject who entered the bank and carried out the Robbery, was located and arrested in front of 803 Rte.110 Amityville without incident.

Harrison is charged with Robbery 2nd Degree and will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 04/10/2104.
 
Update - April 8, 2014 - Robbery Squad detectives, in coordination with Bureau of Special Operations officers, report the arrest of Nathaniel Kelly Jr., 60, of 100 Schleigel Blvd.,Apt. 110, Amityville in connection with the above incident.
 
A subsequent investigation by detectives and officers revealed that Kelly, acting in consort with the subject who entered the bank and is yet to be arrested, assisted him by aiding in his arrival and departure from the scene by driving him in his car.
 
Kelly is charged with Robbery 2nd Degree and will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 04/09/14.
 
The investigation into this Robbery continues.

Original Release - Mineola, NY - April 8th, 2014 - Robbery Squad detectives are investigating a bank Robbery that occurred on April 7, 2014 at 2:17 pm in Mineola.

According to detectives, a male black subject entered TD Bank, 540 Jericho Turnpike, produced a demand note to a teller and made several verbal demands for cash. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the subject fled the bank in an unknown direction. During the Robbery there were 6 employees and 3 customers present, none of whom were injured.

The subject was described as being 5’8”- 5’10” tall with a slim build and a dark complexion. He was wearing a brown hoodie, baseball cap and sunglasses.
