Long Island, NY - April 8th, 2013 - Michael “The Closer” Haltman is a resident of Woodbury, and owner of Hallmark Abstract Service LLC.  Michael has been selected to be one of the boxers for the tenth Long Island Fight for Charity that will be held on November 25th at the Long Island Hilton in Melville.   He has owned Hallmark Abstract Service for over five years and is known to be a tenacious protector of his client’s best interests.  This action-packed and highly anticipated event is one of the Island’s leading charity fundraising and networking events.  More than 1,200 people are expected to attend, and over $200,000 is projected to be raised supporting members of the community through The Long Island Community Chest.

More than 20 of Long Island’s brightest and toughest business professionals will go head-to -head in the ring. The card for the evening will include more than ten bouts, pitting local business professionals against each other for charity.

One of the many anticipated bouts will include Michael “The Closer” Haltman. “I am truly dedicated to participating in and supporting this unique opportunity and this great charity.  It’s a great way give back to the community and help people as well as to get in shape and meet other members of the Long Island business community.  This will be a memorable and a once in a lifetime experience for me,” said Haltman.

“This is the 10th anniversary and a very special year for all those involved.   Over the next 10 months the volunteer boxers will have to contribute a significant amount of time and effort to prepare for this event.  Their preparation shows their dedication to the charity and to the cause as a whole,” said Matt Silver, Long Island’s Fight for Charity Co-Founder.

Tickets for the event are available on-line.  Ringside seats are $195, premium seats are $125, and both include admission to a pre-event special networking and cocktail reception. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with a V.I.P. reception.  The doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the boxing begins at 6:30 p.m.  More than 20 local restaurants will provide food and beverages for the event.
