A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph, or gusts of 46 to 57 mph, are expected or occurring. NCPD reports the arrest of Justin Taylor of Long Beach, 25, for for Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

Long Beach, NY - April 6, 2018 - The First Squad reports the arrest of a Long Beach man for Criminal Possession of a Weapon that occurred on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in Long Beach.
 
According to Detectives, officers responded to The United States Coast Guard Station in Jones Beach to investigate an incident involving Justin Taylor, 25.
 
A subsequent investigation was conducted and officers responded to his residence where they recovered an altered semi-automatic rifle along with fully loaded magazines. The defendant, Justin Taylor, was placed under arrest without incident.
 
Defendant Taylor is being charged with three (3) counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree.  He will be arraigned on Friday, April 06, 2018 in First District Court, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
