Manhattan Man Arrested After Burglarizing Woodmere Residence, Officials Say

NCPD reports the arrest of Peter Lee of Manhattan, 61.

Woodmere, NY - April 6, 2018 - Major Case Bureau reports the details of a Burglary arrest that occurred on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:02 P.M. in Woodmere.
 
According to detectives, Officers were called to investigate a suspicious person that was on the roof of a residence on Howard Avenue. The officers arrived and saw a male jump off the roof and run through adjacent yards. After a short foot chase, the defendant Peter Lee was apprehended. Subsequent investigation determined defendant Lee had broken into a residence through a window on Howard Avenue and he was arrested.
 
Peter Lee, 61, of Manhattan, NY is charged with Burglary 2nd. He was arraigned on April 4, 2018 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
