West Hempstead, NY - April 6th, 2016 - The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of a West Hempstead man on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11:27pm in West Hempstead.

According to Detectives, defendant Benny Baez, 34, of Maryann Lane did illegally dump garbage on a construction site located on Clocks Boulevard in Massapequa on Saturday, March 5, 2016.

Upon arrest the defendant did flail his arms and ran out a side door of his residence to avoid being placed into custody.  No injuries were reported.

Defendant Benny Baez is charged with Petit Larceny, Criminal Tampering and Resisting Arrest.  

He will be arraigned on Wednesday, April 06, 2016 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
