Plainview Subway Sandwich Shop Robbed at Knifepoint, Cops Say

St. James, NY - April 5, 2017 - Robbery Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, April 04, 2017 at 7:50 pm in Plainview.
 
According to detectives, a male subject entered Subway, 1022 Old Country Road, displayed a large knife to the store employee and demanded money from the cash register. The male clerk opened the register and the subject grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash. 
 
The subject, who was described as being 5’6”-5’8” tall, wearing a dark knit cap with a brim, a dark colored scarf covering his face, dark colored jacket, jeans, gloves and tan shoes, then fled the store in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
