Four People Arrested for Selling Alcohol to a Minor

Brentwood, NY - April 5th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police arrested four people after they were caught selling alcohol to a minor at businesses in Brentwood and Central Islip last evening.
 
The Third Precinct Crime Section conducted an underage alcohol sting operation of seven businesses and four were found to be in violation.
 
The following businesses failed inspection and each store representative was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Minor:
  • Felix Ulloa-Reyes, Los Primos Deli, 201 Second Ave., Brentwood
  • Alberto Rodriguez, King Liquors, 727 Suffolk Ave., Brentwood
  • Ariel Espinal, La Gran Via Grocery & Deli, 20 Wicks Road, Brentwood
  • Celia Uceda, Perla De Oriente II Deli, 1643 Islip Ave., Central Islip
Ulloa-Reyes, Rodriguez, Espinal and Uceda were issued a Field Appearance Ticket and will appear in court at a later date.
 
The operation was part of an on-going effort by the Suffolk County Police Department to ensure compliance of laws pertaining to the sale of alcohol.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
