Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D - Great Neck) visited the St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Great Neck on Thursday, April 1 to deliver a donation of 100 two-ounce bottles of hand sanitizer. The St. Aloysius Interfaith Food Pantry, which operates every two weeks on Saturdays, will include the bottles in supplies given to beneficiaries of the church’s food ministry.

“As the rate of vaccinated Nassau County residents continues to increase, it’s important to continue adhering to proven COVID-19 prevention techniques such as wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and washing our hands frequently,” Legislator Birnbaum said. “I’m pleased to have an opportunity to deliver these supplies to St. Aloysius R. C. Church and thank them for the wonderful job they are doing to help those in need.”
