NCPD Crime Alert: Valley Stream Shell Station Robbed

Valley Stream, NY - April 4th, 2016 - Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Valley Stream on Sunday, 04/03/16 at 10:44 P.M.
According to detectives, a male subject entered the Shell Gas Station located at 100 W. Merrick Rd., approached the clerk and demanded he move away from the cash register. 
The subject walked behind the counter and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and then fled the scene on foot eastbound on Merrick Rd.  The victim did not see a weapon. There were no patrons in the gas station at the time of the robbery.
No injuries were reported.
The subject (unknown race) was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers and white cloth covering his face. No further description is available.
