Two Men Steal $15,000 in Designer Handbags from Walt Whitman Mall, SCPD Says

Reports: Two men wearing hats, scarves, sunglasses and gloves entered Louis Vuitton, took merchandise, and fled in a vehicle.

Huntington Station, NY - April 4, 2019 - Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a larceny that occurred at a Huntington Station store on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
 
Two black men wearing hats, scarves, sunglasses and gloves entered the Louis Vuitton store inside Saks Fifth Avenue at the Walt Whitman Mall, located at 230 Walt Whitman Rd., at approximately 3:25 p.m. The men took six Louis Vuitton handbags and accessories, valued at more than $15,000, and left the store without paying. They fled in an unknown vehicle.
 
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
