Woman Wanted for Robbing West Babylon Bank

West Babylon, NY - April 3, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred today at a bank in West Babylon.
 
A woman entered the HSBC Bank, located at 85 Route 109, West Babylon, and displayed a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the robber’s demand and gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash at approximately 3:15 p.m. The robber fled on foot northbound through the parking lot.
 
She is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet tall with a medium build, between 30 and 35-years-old with light brown hair.  She was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a baseball cap and sunglasses.
 
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
