Mangano Thanks Ronald McDonald House Supporters

Nassau County, NY - April 3, 2014 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Mike Daggett, President of the McDonalds Owners Association, accepted a check for $10,000 on behalf of The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island from New York State Assemblyman Harvey Weisenberg and his wife Ellen. The Weisenberg’s donated these personal funds to this very worthy cause at a meeting of the Long Island Owners Association of McDonald’s. County Executive Mangano addressed the audience and thanked Assemblyman & Mrs. Weisenberg for their generous support of the Ronald McDonald House.

The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island is a home away from home for the families of children receiving medical care at Cohen Children’s Medical Center. The 42 bedroom facility is located on the campus of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park.
