Report: Amityville Man Charged with Multiple Larcenies from Unlocked Vehicles

Mineola, NY - April 2, 2019 - The Third Squad reports the arrest of an Amityville man for multiple Grand Larcenies that occurred in Mineola.
 
According to detectives, defendant Isaiah Fearron, 24, was stopped on Roslyn Road in East Williston by police for committing numerous bicycle VTL violations and peering into parked cars. The defendant initially provided false information of his identity to police before being properly identified. 
 
An investigation by police determined between Friday March 9, 2018 and Monday February 4, 2019, the defendant Fearron entered multiple unlocked vehicles across Nassau County and removed miscellaneous items left inside, which included credit cards and a cell phone. The defendant fled when police attempted to place him under arrest. He was located on Brown Street behind a residential dwelling hiding under a tarp and placed into police custody.
 
Defendant Isaiah Fearron is charged with 2 counts of Grand Larceny 4th Degree, 1 count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Degree, 2 counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree, 2 counts of Criminal Possession 5th Degree, 3 counts of Petit Larceny, Resisting Arrest, and False Personation. He was arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
