My Father's Place

While I never personally made it to the original My Father's Place in Roslyn which opened in 1971, I have enjoyed shows that Michael 'Eppy' Epstein works tiressly on at its new venue in at The Roslyn Hotel.

Seaford, Long Island

Growng up on the South Shore of Long Island my family and I spent countless hours at the Wantagh Park, Jet Skiing in the Bellmore-Merrick area and of course cruising Merrick Road for the latest greatest to shop & eat. Here's a classic ad for "The New Waterfront Paradise" in Seaford Harbor. I love where it says "see what a small cash deposit and $5 a month will buy!"

Sears in Hicksville

With 26.4-acres in Hicksville, the now vacant Sears in Hicksville was once "The New Sears" in Hicksville...
