Legislator Trotta Congratulates Student Named Semifinalist in National Regeneron Science TalentSearch

Smithtown, NY - March 31, 2017 - Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta invited Kings Park resident and St. Anthony High School senior to the general meeting of the legislature to recognize him for being the only Catholic High School student named in New York State as a semifinalist in the National Regeneron Science Talent Search (formerly Intel). This contest is America’s oldest and most prestigious pre-college science competition in the nation. 
 
“I am thrilled to have such a bright and accomplished student in my district. This award took a lot of hard work and fortitude and is also a reflection on the great teachers and leadership at St. Anthony’s High School,” said Legislator Rob Trotta.
 
Legislator Robert Trotta represents the 13th Legislative District, which includes Smithtown, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, San Remo, Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, and St. James, as well as most of East Northport and parts of Northport and Commack.
 
Legislator Trotta serves on the Legislature’s Economic Development, Environment, Planning & Agriculture, Health, Public Works, Transportation & Energy, and Ways & Means Committees.
