Cold Spring Harbor, NY – March 31, 2017 – Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I,Ref-South Huntington) and Town Clerk Jo-Ann Raia recently joined the Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department for their 2017 Installation of Officers. Lupinacci offered remarks at the gathering and awarded the installed officers with New York State Assembly Citations for their service to the community.
“Volunteer firefighters are truly everyday heroes, and its gatherings like these where we can recognize their commitment and thank them for everything that they do,” said Lupinacci. “I would like to acknowledge and recognize how important the Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department, and each of its volunteers are to all of us. In a community known for its rich history and beautiful sights, Cold Spring Harbor and the surrounding community owes this Fire Department a debt of gratitude for their 160 plus years of outstanding service.”
