NCPD Crime Alert: Duo Mugged at Gunpoint in Freeport

Freeport, NY - March 31st, 2015 - The First Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 1:45 am in Freeport.

According to detectives, two victims were walking northbound on North Brookside Avenue and Meadow Lane when they were approached by 5 unknown male subjects. One of the subjects displayed a black handgun and demanded money. The couple complied with a wallet containing an undetermined amount of US currency, personal papers, credit cards and an I-phone 6.

The subjects fled on foot eastbound onto Meadow Lane. They are described as male blacks, approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall, between 16 and 19 years of age, wearing baggy pants and hooded sweatshirts. There were no reported injuries.
