Suffolk County Legislators Recognize Commack and Smithtown East Regeneron Semifinalists and Finalist

Smithtown, NY – March 30, 2017 – Suffolk County Legislators Rob Trotta and Leslie Kennedy congratulated winners from Smithtown High School East and Commack High School for competing in the National Regeneron Science Talent Search (formerly Intel). This contest is the oldest and most prestigious pre-college science competition in the nation.  “I am so impressed by your intelligence and determination. Please keep up the good work as you pursue your education and career endeavors,” said Legislator Trotta.

Legislator Robert Trotta represents the 13th Legislative District, which includes Smithtown, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, San Remo, Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, and St. James, as well as most of East Northport and parts of Northport and Commack.
 
Legislator Trotta serves on the Legislature’s Economic Development, Environment, Planning & Agriculture, Health,Public Works, Transportation & Energy, and Ways & Means Committees.
