Nassau Authorities Seeking Two Suspects in Freeport Street Robbery

Two teens had money forcefully removed from their pockets by the assailants, Cops Say.

Freeport, NY – March 30, 2017 – First Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2:50 pm in Freeport.
 
According to detectives, while walking home, on North Columbus Avenue near the intersection of Hillside Avenue, from the Dodd Middle School, a thirteen year old male and a fourteen year old male were confronted by two male blacks who told them to “Open your pockets”. The subjects then proceeded to forcefully remove money from both victims’ pants pockets and fled northbound on North Columbus Avenue. 
 
The uninjured victims could only further describe the subjects as being approximately 15 to 16 years of age and both being about 6’ tall. One subject was a dark skinned male black and the other a light skinned male black who had a white cast on his forearm.
