Locale Gastro Bar & Pizzette

The ambiance at this restaurant located on Main Street in Patchogue is part pub and part upscale casual. The front of house has a large bar with lots of seating for happy hour goers or those looking for a cocktail and pizzette. For those looking for a more intimate dinging experience, grab a table and enjoy everything from traditional Italian appetizers to fresh pastas. As for the pizza, Locale specializes in personal pies called pizzettes perfect for devouring all to yourself or sharing. Visitors can’t get enough of their signature Spartichoke (mozzarella, spinach, artichoke and Pecorino Romano). Whether you’re craving a red or white pie, Locale has you covered on both

fronts.

Vito’s Ristorante & Pizzeria

From signatures like their Angry Grandma Pie (grandma crust with mozzarella cheese topped with their famous arrbiata sauce) to their Stuffed Quesadilla and French Onion Soup pizzas, the options are endless at this Long Island pizza haven. Whether your craving Italian, Greek and even Mexican cuisine, Vito’s has a specialty pizza for just about everyone.

1943 Pizza Bar

This small Long Island pizza joint has developed a large following for its brick-oven pizzas that are noted for their thin crispy crust. If your going to splurge go for The New Haven (white pie with creamy mashed potatoes, crispy bacon and garlic). And for those looking for something even more off the cusp try their Clams Casino (white pie topped with fresh clams, crispy bacon, green peppers, and garlic). You can't go wong either way!

Red Tomato

This magical duo: mac & cheese and pizza—pairs perfectly together inside this Long Island pizza spot serving up artisanal wood-fired pies. One of the most popular items on the menu, the macaroni & cheese pizza is a must try, but don’t pass up on their signature calzones too. Our favorite? The Keste (prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella, ricotta and fresh basil). Enjoy the industrial-chic space with exposed piping and metal chairs for a look that brings Williamsburg Brooklyn to Long Island.

Gino’s of Tuscany

This humble space uses wooden accents and exposed wine racks to exude a quiet Tuscan charm. With locations in North Bellmore, Bethpage and Massapequa Park, Gino’s is serving up some delicious pizza on the island. The famous Grandma Pie is made with their signature slow-cooked red sauce and fresh mozzarella. Other signatures not to miss are their Vodka Margherita, Upside Down Sicilian and their Honey Spice.
